Whoa.
Jakeapolooza kicked butt.
Good friends, good times
(and a little bit of crazziness)
fishing, swimming, canoeing, grilling,
drinking moonshine, fire gazing, talking smack.
For Jacob, Adam and I it was a bit of a
trip down memory lane. Neither Jake or Adam
had been to the cabin since our family reacquired it.
Adam spent many many weekends with our family,
he and Megan who couldn't make Jakeapolooza.
Jake kept saying how it seemed smaller and
the trees so much bigger.
We told more stories than probably
most guests wanted to hear.
My favorite event of the weekend was swamping
the canoe with Jake and Adam, I giggled uncontrollably,
we all giggled uncontrollably.
I dont know if I have been under a canoe since all of us
last swamped one 20 years ago. wow.
Unfortunately we never got in a game of kick the can,
maybe that will be next year's Mollypolooza.
Happy birthday Jake!
