Haircuts

Ava sat perfectly still to get her hair brushed and cut. Luca on the other hand didn't want to sit on the chair, screamed when she brushed, wouldn't wear the gown and demanded his sucker during the haircut instead of afterwards. Whatever. He settled down when Max and Ruby came on the TV, no accidental scissor pokes due to a squirmy kid. This lady is wonderful! She is so patient and kind every time we brave dual haircuts. She sings songs to Luca about being a big boy, pretends to cut Buzz and Woody's hair and makes me feel like the whole thing really isn't that terrible of an outing. We left covered in hair but in fairly good spirits.

Pretty Valentines

Ava was so proud of the cards that she made for her daycare teachers. She kept calling them "Christmas Card Valentines". I guess cards + crafts = Christmas. Different color scheme.

Luca got messy with the rubber cement and sucked on a red marker - wish I had been able to get a good picture of him.
