Trick-or-Treat

We trick-or-treated at the mall and in our neighborhood. Too much candy but the kids had a blast. Luca had to go home after a block because he threw a hug tantrum if he couldn't open and eat every piece of candy he got. Ava could have been out for hours and been content to just keep ringing doorbells and checking out all of the goodies. Happy Halloween Woody and Buzz!

Luca is just about the age Ava was when he was born. Oh, my! What were we thinking?

He is such a funny little boy, super loving and so much fun to be around. As the last few months of pictures have shown, Luca and Woody are attached. Woody goes everywhere with Luca; to daycare, to swim classes, in the bath tub, at the table for meals and especially to sleep. Not the softest of lovies but Woody makes Luca happy. Today we almost lost Woody in the leaves a few times, a few moments of panic and some sifting through piles of leaves and we found him!

I should really pick up a back up Woody just in case.

Schuster's Farm

Took a short trip to Schuster's Farm to play, see the animals and pick out a pumpkin. Luca called the goats "cows" and was pretty excited by every animal. Ava was a big fan of the enormous hog who barely moved and also the kittens which she thought she should take home. It was chilly, but a good time.

It's going to be a long few weeks till Halloween now that the kids know about their costumes.

We went to visit Papa this weekend, Papa and his two enormous dogs. Mema was also up north so we got to go swimming at her condo and spend some time hanging out all together too. The kids LOVED Bella and Beau, Bella especially since she's much calmer than her younger but larger brother. The dogs look like they could gobble up the kids in one bite but they are sweet and gentle. (a little hairy and slobbery but nice) Despite the crappy weather we had a good time, who needs nature when you have a good North woods bar with video games :)
