i never had a grandma. 

all died before i was even born. 

luckily, as an adult i got a grandma through marriage. 

she is everything you would hope a grandma to be

a great cook, baker and gardener,

funny, smart and easy going,

loving of grand kids and great grand kids.

My mom's dog Max and Megan and Matti's dog Max. 

Well that's confusing, especially since they will be

spending a lot of time together. 

Luckily Max (on the left) already has the awesome 

nickname if "Maxi Pad" (sorry mom) 

so that helps the kids differentiate.

Our friends Megan and Matti and dog Max arrived today.

They are staying with us for three weeks until they are

able to move into a house in our old hood. 

Max is not quite sure about the kids although if 

they chuck balls for him it seems they could be good friends.
