Germs Germs Go Away
It may look like a fun day at the park but in fact, it wasn't.
Well, Luca had an alright time despite the two green trails of boogers constantly streaming down from both nostrils. Ava just wanted to sit on my lap and cuddle. She told me several times that she was ready for her nap...that is not my child. Three hours later she awoke from a nap, crying and feverish. Seriously, now I get to be sick myself and have sick kids. Enough already. This week of illness needs to end. Is wine and Benadryl an ok combination?

Good Day for a Bike Ride
Sleepy Sunday
I think I was in bed sick for 40 of the 48 weekend hours. Poor Dustin had to pick up the slack all around. This picture was around 4pm on Sunday, Ava couldn't keep her eyes open any longer either. Thankfully much more of the messy house didn't make it in the pictures. Today is all about opening the windows and disinfecting EVERYTHING.

State Street Adventure
I took three kids downtown - all by myself. Ava's friend Bodie is spending all day and all night with us. We played on the Capitol steps, watched some kids folk singers, walked several blocks and had lunch. Exhausting.
Fortunately I ran into my friend Nancy who help me navigate down State Street without losing or injuring any of the kids. I'm beginning to understand the practicality of kid leashes.
